Working as a CCTV Operator (Public Space Surveillance)

This course will allow you to apply for your CCTV licence with the Security Industry Authority (SIA)

CCTV has an impact on crime prevention and detection. According to the British Security Industry Authority (BSIA) it is estimated that the UK currently has between 4 and 6 million in the UK with London having approximately 1 camera for every 14 people.
A CCTV licence is required when there are manned guarding activities carried out though the use of closed circuit television equipment.

This course will allow you to apply for your CCTV licence with the Security Industry Authority (SIA)

• Unit 1 – Working in a private security industry
• Unit 2 – Working as a CCTV operator unit
• Unit 3 – Practical operation of CCTV equipment
